Ive had two Level Ones in less then a month, my truck is perfect, my logs, paperwork, med cards etc etc all spot on, FEDERAL DOT INSPECTORS says my truck is in excellent shape, so please guys let me pass by, im looking into DRIVEWISE or PREPASS to helpo keep me out of scales, last time the Officer says Im not sure but your licenses plate on the rear is missing ??? Really....Really, Random inspections they both were, one in Minnesota, One as I came out of the South Carolina area....

Now they want to stop us and hand out pamphlets, and be "Instructional' CMON MAN !!!!

No need to complicate the simple.

M.N & S.C do not play well with PrePass.- you would be inspected with or without PP.
BTW, ever noticed how PrePass & Elogs are placing your carrier in a great disadvantage ?
as the CSA system is a %tage base, and carriers that used those are not been inspected as often.
a good practice for an Elog truck is to take the "drivers use electronic log" decal off the truck. once a road side inspection start, it's too late for the LEO to discover the Elog thing.
