Yea it is. I get around 3500 miles a week solo which is awesome. And all of this is logged legal although some guys out here argue that because I run paper logs I am somehow cheating them.

well you are allowed what?...70 hours a week before a reset?.....500 miles a day is 3500 miles

Yeah and besides that my average speed is around 60 when out west which is where I've been last 2 weeks so I have been squeezing 600 a day. Love it out in mt,wy,sd, and id since there is little traffic I can do 600 to 650 a day. That won't happen out east.

I have yet to face this ARE YOU TIRED question, Out of three Inspections Ive had this last year they didnt look into the HOS other then look over my last two logs, I use a paper log, I keep good CLEAN RECORDS that are legible and on a clip board, My documentation is well kept, my trucks paperwork is all in a manila envelope and easy to read, clear copies etc....Ive never been asked am I fatigued.
I get plenty of sleep, and I sleep well in my truck im comfy and relaxed and I dont look like Ive had on the same clothes for five days or have a pile of empty coffee cups on the floor board.

What makes a trooper or LEO ask this question ??? If there just seeking to fine you or hassle you which I have never come across, whats the Law....maybe when you jump outta your truck looking like you just been run over by it, and they peer inside and you have 14 starbucks cups in your trash, or empty FIVE HOUR bottles all over...

I agree we need to stand together to fight these ridiculous sleep apnea and other laws that arent about safety but making money for the Medical Chains that now are the only place you can get a Physical, we drivers better pay attention because they are going to pick your pocket if we allow them.
