I went to my Cardiologist Monday Morning and After my Check up I went to the Desk to Make another Appointment.
I Got my New Appointment and was Getting Ready to Leave when the Girl at the Desk said Don't Leave Yet, I HAVE to Take your Picture for the NEW Electronic Medical Records Data Base! I asked what New Electronic Medical Records Date Base and where does My Information Go? She Told me that Under the New health Care Program That They HAVE To Submit Everything to The Federal Govt. so they Would Have it. I Told her BS and Left! Now, I Don't Know if she was Mistaken or if this is True, But That's what she Told me! Anyone else Experience This?

I wonder where Osama Obama got HIS medical degree? I also wonder who wrote this bill, my congressman will not answer that question. Neither would Barry be willing to either I bet.

Also the DOT with your physical already knows your status of your health.

The fact that "Big Brother" could and most likely will us them to track people now or in the future was a real concern when that bill was passed. Those fears may prove to be more real than we would like.

There is a HUGE difference between a national health card and the government knowing your medical status and the DOT having the same information. Commercial driving is a CHOICE. We know that the government is going to control our lives when we go into this business. Some of those regulations are legit others are not.

With this health care mess you have NO choice. Just being born puts you under the thumb, more like iron boot, of the government. They will, as time goes on, become more and more demanding. This bill destroys freedom. No free people should ever stand still for things like this.

Not once did I feel the government breathing down my back...never did I feel any interference from the government in my care...I made my own choices of which Dr. to see and even had access to get a 2nd opinion...I did not feel limited in any way...

First off, do not try to compare what is in Canada and what are are having forced on us here. They are not the same animal. Second, you were raised undera government system, we were not. It is a mind set, an attitude.

This government is headed down a very dark path. Using the IRS as the enforcement agency should be raising every red flag that you have. They are arming. Those, in government, who are pushing this are flat out Marxists. Just dig a little deeper into their writings, who they have associated with in the past, who has been appointed to key positions. Just look at what John Dingell said during that radio interview on WJR.

They can and will use intimidation, prison, violence and any other means they have to insure their power.

Beware, keep in mind that this president associates with people who supported the VC, the Soviets and the 9/11 bombers.

Not to worry Greg, we won't have free speech here all that much longer if the Marx team have their way. They pay no attention to our Constitution or the Bill of Rights. They are only out for total control and will stop and nothing to achieve that goal.

I am not familiar with the Canadian constitution, does it contain a Free Speech clause as ours does?

She, like other very left leaning people didn't want to see Ann Coulter on the campuses of any Canadian institution of learning because "Canada has hate speech laws and does not have freedom of speech". In all three interviews I saw/heard her, she not only stressed that Canada doesn't have free speech and their hate speech laws are such that if it offends, it is hate speech - A LOT like the UK's speech laws where they never had real free speech.

Well if you think so OVM, but that's not how it is applied.

It is the interpretation of the person's meaning and attitude that has me worried, not the actual speech they use or the offending material they are talking.

See if you take it that far, society is then really messed up. I mean that the rights of the individual shouldn't change with the changes of any measurement of society standards, and being that freedom of expression and speech should be the thing that is above any person's right to not be offended, then if one is jailed or stifled in speaking their mind, especially in a public place like a campus, then society has taken two steps backward.

In the UK, it is the mere thought that has gotten people in trouble. One case was a 14 year old girl who was grouped with students who refused to speak English, she asked to be placed in another group and that was interpreted to mean she was racist and she was charged with some speech violation. I don't remember the results of it, but the one thing that was talked about was the lack of a way to determine what the person was thinking at the time so the English seem to weigh in on the safe side by charging her.

That is why we keep expanding hate crimes and their definition. We will soon have total government censorship, thought police and government approved groups to hate. Like gun owners, those of us who believe in our Constitution and anyone who disagrees with those in charge.
