I agree with someone who posted on that video clip site... if thats all you got(a bunch of sound bites) on Obama.... we are not falling for the same old fear smear from republicans agian ... it's the same stuff they did with Kerry! As is usually the case with liberals, anytime anyone starts pointing out the verifiable facts about their voting records, policy positions, and accomplishments (or lack thereof) they start crying "personal attack", "smear campaign" or "fear smear" rather than attempt to dispute the accusations. In the vast majority of instances regarding the Swift Boat Veterans with Kerry, and now these direct quotes via video recordings and sound clips, these facts are indisputable. Reasonable people will evaluate these reports and decide for themselves whether or not the candidate is qualified for the office. The kool-aid drinkers will ignore the facts and cast their votes based on emotions, such as irrational hatred for George Bush who isn't running for president. Fortunately, the majority of the American public will make an informed decision based on facts as they did with John Kerry. For this reason Obama will probably lose as badly as Mondale did to Reagan - a 49 state defeat.

P.S. - Regarding the original title of this thread: Obama is NOT AHEAD IN THE POLLS by a landslide. Today the Gallup Poll has him TIED IN THE POLL AT 45% each. Other reasonable polls show a tie or slight lead within the margin of statistical error.

The problem is Michelle is a self-centered bitter person who has stayed in a church with a leader who espouses racism, a complete reflection on her lack of ethics right away. She speaks like a 60's radical who is hell bent on getting her way or else.

I gove you that one to, to a point. Yes she like a lot of others became adicited to pain killers but look at what happened to her that led her to that point. with the same token, we have people who justify others who use hard drugs, damage other's lives and still say that it wasn't their fault - is this a double standard?

As for stealing, ah... ok, she did but see the thing is, she is still involved with the charity and other charities and the amazing thing is she openly speaks about her problems (like Glenn Beck and others). AND by the way these charities are helping people, so I can cut some slack in this sense even though I have a problem with drug use.

Well DUH! of course she didn't refuse, she filed jointly which means she has no choice when the Messiah declared he was going to run. They did however pad the return with charitable stuff, but the only problem is that it was a gift to the church, a racist church at that.

On the other hand, McCain's file separately, they have a prenup in place and the money of McCain is separate from the money of his wife. I would not expect her to release that information because at this point she is not running for office which means she is a private citizen. The libs made a big deal out of this and forgot to mention that it don't matter.
