Obama scores passing grade

Unlike those who are incapable of clear vision and thoughts and find themselves able to do nothing but repeat the same hate speech toward Bush whenever mentioning his name I will gladly speak either positively or negatively about Bush, Obama, and anyone else to fit the topic and the evaluation they earn.

In this case I can speak positively about Obama, a welcome and refreshing change. This is not high praise. He fell far short of that. It is however acknowledgment that he did much better today than he could have and was expected to do. The place I had lunch had a news channel on tv playing and being a semi-captive audience I gave him the benefit of the doubt and open ears/mind.

In a joint news conference with Netanyahu he stated more than once that Israel is our friend and it was unacceptable for Iran to have nuclear weapons. He lost points by repeating the "friendly talks" policy toward Iran and by giving until year end for Iran to come to an acceptable decision. He wasn't emphatic enough and didn't demand prompt enough action by Iran. Overall he scored about a C-/D+ which isn't good but that is better than failure.

Well, I heard a later report that it was a 2 hour meeting and I only saw about 15 minutes of it but during the window I saw he did much better than one would have expected. He wasn't the strong advocate/supporter he should have been but he didn't sound like an enemy of our country either and at times he has been an enemy of the nation. He has a long way to go but unlike the closed minded haters who are incapable of unbiased thought or speech I can and will accurately evaluate what I see and hear. In this case I saw and heard an Obama who was passable, at least in words as of yesterday. Now, he still has to follow through on all that he said and maintain the minimally strong position he claimed. He can easily convert his passing grade to his more expected failure but for the moment he's earned a (barely) passing grade on this one.

What we seen from both men were "shows" for the press, barry wouldn't even look at Bibi when he spoke or when barry spoke directly to him in front of the camaras. The hold thing was strained for both of them, because nothing has changed

Yea barry said the "right things" about iran and not talking forever..but those talks will go no where, Iamadumbazz will simply treat hiliary and barry the same way he has and the same way that Kim did en they made their opposition to north korea and then later their threats ....he ignored them, just as imadumbazz will. Iran just asked russia to comeback and work woth them to finish their nuclear plant...sounds like they are really interestewhd in "talks" with barry and hiliary....

NHe eithe of them gave up anything and neither of them will until israel bombs iran, then we will see barrys true colors....gets a D, simply because he is good in front of the camara, especially with his teleprompter..........

As with all politicians, what Barack Hussein Obama SAYS means nothing. Based on his liberal record, what he actually DOES will probably not be in Israel's best interest - but Netanyahu knows this already.

That was akin to the first rough draft of a paper that one has their entire matriculation to complete. The final grade may be a failing grade but the preliminary shows the possibility of acceptable completion to a passing grade. At this point he didn't flunk out but he's on shakey ground. Unlike those with the one track narrow gauge for whom anything beyond Bush lied is an impossibility I can/will look at events separately and individually and appraise accordingly.
