Bush administration charges of Voting Rights Act violations, Federal District Judge Stewart Dalzell in Philadelphia issued a default ruling against King Samir Shabazz, Mr. Jackson, the New Black Panther Party and its chairman, Malik Zulu Shabazz (no relation to King Samir Shabazz). Although career federal prosecutors won this case (arguing, among other things, "There is never a good reason to bring a billy club to a polling station") they were overruled by political appointees in President Obama's Justice Department who ordered them to dismiss the complaints against all parties except King Samir Shabazz. He was ordered not to exhibit a weapon within 100 feet of a Philadelphia precinct through Nov. 15, 2012. Pittsburgh seems fair game"

(Emphasis above is mine) Now read that again; in other words, according to this light slap on the wrist Shabazz can take his act to the Philly suburbs and everything is cool. There is so much evidence available - visual and otherwise - that contradicts these claims by Media Matters, it's almost laughable. We can only imagine the h*ll that would have been raised if the KKK had been caught outside a polling place using similar tactics. However, demonization of their accusers and trivialization of the charges are well known tactics used by the radical left to dismiss accusations against them, even when the evidence is incontrovertable.

No voters have come forward to claim that they were intimidated from voting on account of the New Black Panthers standing outside the polling center in 2008;

Yes they did - there were voters and eyewitnesses:
"...Gaziano said that during the whole process the commission had three hearings on the matter with eyewitnesses present, claiming the voters did– in fact–feel intimidated despite organizations like Media Matters reporting otherwise. He also claims it wasn’t just the voters who had to deal with the two black panthers at the polling station, but also the poll watchers..."

Media Matters' credibility has always been shaky and their liberal bias obvious, but this nonsense puts them squarely in the camp of the left wing Democrats - nothing more than a shill for the Obama campaign.
