Iran is staring up it's reactor. It is hard to imagine that the world's nations would allow a country lead by a "nut case" to get this far. I feel that nothing but trouble will come of this. What do you think and WHY? Is the world safer, more dangerous or has there been no change?

During the United States' current period of weakness, our adversaries, Iran and Russia, seek to strengthen themselves. Iran has become a client state of Russia. They will work in unison to counterbalance the Great Satan of the West.

Russia is assisting Iran but they are NOT able to control the Islamic terrorists. Russia has had it's "butt bit" by them already. They will likely regret the day they got "in bed" with them.

10 crusie missles at 3am Iran time might help to postpone their nuke program. I do think we will be less safe in the future with all this mess if some country or countries dont strike first. Remember Chamberlain and Hitler,,rite.....

WE also CAN NOT control Islamic terrorists..they strike whenever they please....so whats the dif?

Our country is also out of control, unstable...

I guess because Iran don't like the Jews or Americans, makes them an enemy/threat??

To my way of thinking, ANY country that denies the well documented deaths of 12 million plus people should be looked at as a potential enemy. They remind me of Nazi Germany in their early days. Ignore history and..........................

In reality, they said we are their enemy and so is anyone that is allied with us. What does that make them?

Don't we say that about anyone siding with them as well?

I don't know, are we calling Russia an enemy again yet? Are we calling China an enemy again yet? Not that I have heard. What about their ignoring the gas chambers of Nazi Germany? Forget that part?

1- you don't get something, Iran is having problems with its people, they are being pushed hard and may end up in a revolt. The government may have to kill a lot of people to put it down. They may start a war with say Iraq, which is really weak right now but that is only a deflection of the real internal issues they have.

2 - the people, even though don't like their government, will not tolerate an invasion or an attack. There is something about Iranians that make them one of the most patriotic people I have ever met. One explained it this way "we are the oldest country in the world and we are very proud of our heritage. Governments always change but the people do not." They may turn on the government quickly if the government attacks another country, like Iraq.

3 - the bigger threat is the UN because like other real serious issues, they will drag their feet and put obstacles in everyone's way to solve this issue.

4 - Russia can not afford to go to war, maybe you didn't notice but Russia seems to be holding it together by a few threads and overtones of the return of Communism are becoming louder by Putin and others within the government which has a lot of people there nervous. Given the nature of their relationship with the EU and with some of the former Soviet counties, it is highly unlikely that they will support Iran if something happens like Iran attacks Israel. OH and let's not forget that even if there are fanatical Muslims in Russia, there are a lot of fanatical Jews still there and they seems to be in a good position to cause a lot of problems for Russia.

5 - China may be the only real problem for us, but than again they may still enjoy the money.

Someone (a Muslim) pointed out something today at lunch. 'Why is it that people here think that people over there want to destroy their country and their religion. If anything, both have more in common than they think. BUT if there is going to be a war over religion, it will be fought in another country, like Mexico or Guatemala where there is a strong religious society.' Just look at the Philippines and what is going on there.
