NFL Playoffs

OK go Figure, last week 8 teams were in the playoffs. My home team the Jacksonville Jaguars played and beat badly 5 of them. The Jags beat the Cowboys,NY Jets,NY Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, and the Colts, they lost to the Patriots by 3 points. So how can a team that can play at this level lose to the Houston Texans twice, plus the KC Chiefs and the Titans omce. I think it is coaching that allows a team to think that they will roll over another team because they beat a playoff contender the previous week. That old cliche really holds true,"on any given Sunday etc" but common the Bears winning the NFC Central. I think the Gators could easily beat them, now the Buckeyes might make a first down in the 4th quarter.

It really is "any given Sunday". The Hawks lost to the Bears by 30 in week four, but are only an 8.5 pt underdog to them this week. Several things factor in how a team does from week to week including injuries, previous week's performance affecting motivation, strategies, etc. That's why they play the game. :)

Takes a lot to make the playoffs. You can have a good game now and then during the season. But, if you lose too many...x(

The schedule you play naturally has something to do with it too.

Jacksonville definately gave my Colts a serious kicking. But, in the big picture... the Colts played the 2nd hardest schedule in the league, according to nfl.com and they still ended up 12-4. Bad D (in regular season) and all! :+

Oh yeah...I am rooting for the Seahawks this weekend. I cheer for the Colts and anybody who plays the Bears. :7
