Sorry I didn't read all the comments, but frankly, the man was a pig! I don't give a ##### about the black nationalists, H. Stern and vulgarity, crackers given a public mouthpiece, and ultra-right morons like Rush, Hannity and the rest of talking heads, ad nauseum...
But,unfortunately, one should not be given public airwaves for big bucks to spew filth. These were educated women, black, and most importantly, from a less than wealthy background! That's three strikes against the old walking corpse as someone else said. Check out the NYTimes on Sun. Most comedians all the way back to Lenny Bruce, who was railroaded out of a career, one PAYS for to see. Carlin, now a hopeless cynic, and even Stern to an extent, grew up in inner-city neighborhoods, and got their ##### kicked probably many times. They can say what they want in private shows to a paying audience! You don't like it, walk out...
Lastly, this whole refrain about "my rights" is like the truck driver who said I have a right to have body mass: well you have a right to die young as well...just shut up and consider the advice!

Frankly, a lot of this type of filth comes from sports show talking heads; again, just because one has a forum, does not give you the right to say whatever, and not pay the price for it. The MEDIA in Amerika is the real culprit here: good journalism went out the window about 20 yrs. ago, along with anything else of human dignity here.

"Yea,when will the black community get some real spokesmen like, well, our President for instance,or for that matter, any member of the administration. We need more black guys that lie, cheat and say they represent a majority(when they don't).
Maybe we can find some right wing spokesmen(black)who will speak to the white community.Forget what the balck comminty wants to hear.Would that make you real happy?
Or maybe the black community needs exactly what they have.Bright guys who represent a point of view that maybe you don't what to hear.Tough toenails buddy,it's America. For blacks and whites.Spokemen don't just appear, they earn their stripes just like all of us."

Huh? What? Are you joking? Seriously, is that the best you can come up with? You are really getting pathetic with your emotionally charged posts that say absolutely nothing at all. Come on, I expect more from you.

OK there it is, making them out as victims before the comment was made.

They are basket ball players, they are in college which means they are better off than most of us. When you say anything like they are women, black and poor you are saying that they are incapable to pull themselves up to a level that is acceptable to society, which also means that they are a subclass in America. To me and many others this is worst than Imus’ comments. The only strike against them is the fact that they stood there and not said forget this, it is not worth the effort instead they were part of their own victimization. Until they stand up on their own, they will always be a victim.

OK, we know they're black women.
We know they're in the process of receiving a college education, and will hopefully earn their degree.
How do we know they're from "poor" or "less than wealthy" families?
