Need help with lights on Supreme Box

My wife and I run a D unit with 22 ft. reefer. The box is built by Supreme and is a 2000. The lights on top of the box on the passenger side all went out at the same time. I am thinking there is one common wire that supplies power there but do not know what route the wire takes. The box is insulated and therefore not easy to tell inside where the wire is. Anyone have experience with this? I am willing to work on it myself but thought someone out there might have experienced this.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Trace the box wire (likely along the frame) or it may be visible.
Most of the time there is one wire so if it has a problem, it knocks out all of the clearance lights. Since it is just one side, it sounds like they put a splitter on and devided them (left and right) off.
It will likely be at that plastic splitter as to where the problem is if the lights still work on the other side.
Might just be corroded or pulled out.
If you can't find it, call Supreme and they should be able to tell you where it is located.

Thanks, Dave for the reply.

I can see where the wire goes into the box (bottom corner, driver's side front). I assume it splits somewhere inside, just cannot tell where.

Will continue to work on it or call Supreme as per your suggestion.

Thanks.

Ok. Just a quess, but likely the top left side inside the box.
If possible, follow the wire to the first light that is out to the first foward one on the other side that works. The lost connection is somewhere in between there. You have an insultated box and most of the wiring should be exposed along the top somewhere?
Hope that helps.

Well, I have 'em working now.
Since the box is a reefer box, the wires inside the box are not exposed. They are covered by the insulation and then all corners are trimmed inside with aluminum.

What I ended up doing was to tap in to the wire on the bottom of the box, go across to the right front corner, came up inside the box in the corner and up to the top and then outside to the corner light.

After the corner light was connected, they all worked. (Actually, I made sure that was gonna happen before I went to all that work.)

Anyway, I feel a little more at ease going by the DOT folks knowing they can see the top of my little truck.
