What's the best nationwide pager to use out there? Do you like
yours and if so what is the cost and a phone number to contact the company.

I've had good luck with WebLink Wireless (formerly PageMart). They offer a plan with guaranteed messaging (when it's off or you're out of the area, it will keep resending until your pager responds that it received it). I bought the Motorola PF1500 advanced word pager. Service plans vary, about $15/month, $5 more for an 800#, and you can get e-mail on it too. WWW.weblinkwireless.com

We had Satellink and were very unhappy with it. If a page was sent at the exact moment that you lost the signal, you were out of luck -- unless your company was aware of the problem and sent mulitple pages. Even then, you weren't guaranteed to receive all pages.

You can probably find cheaper services, but i would highly suggest taking LittleBigTruck's recommendation on this one.

Don't get Sattellink. As WendyCal stated, it SUCKS! Never works when you want it to and uses about 5 batteries a month. I threw mine right out of my truck one day.
