100,000/year miles is decent for a used truck.

Brand of truck depends on what kind of unit you want. Tractor, you'll hear all different answers. Straight trucks, I tend toward Kenworth, but I'd get a FL if the price is right.

Hge's right on that 100K a year is good. Mine's now 6 years old with 468K on it, and it has been good for the money.

I've looked at a lot of cargo vans 2002 to 2004 GMC 2500-3500 and it seems very common to see these with 285,000 miles being only 3 years old. These go for anywhere from $6000 to $10,000. What do you think of these?

Personally I have put 300,000 miles on just regular GM cars and then sold them in good condition, and would expect these vans doing 100,000 miles a year should be good for 500,000 or much more if cared for.
