Michelin Tire

It is getting close to tire buying time and I am most likely going to put the XZA3 tire on my drive axle. It seems that there is a XZA3 Duo as well. I tried to look that up on the Michelin site but the site is not working. Anyone in here know the difference? I am also considering the Dunlop SP384, anyone familar with that one?

Michelin occasionally releases tires to their fleet customers that are a bit off spec and they get branded as DUO. Basically it is a tire that is OK but is not perfect. Generally they are steer tires and are sold as OK to use in any other position except steer (the most critical tire you have). They usually came at a substantial discount. Are you using the FX discount to buy tires Joe? The DUO tires might not qualify...not sure on that tho.

Thanks Piper1, yes I will be using the FedEx discount, assuming that I don't find an un-real deal elsewhere. That is not likely.
