I'm jobless after 20 years, yeah.
I left my job-no sugar coating--> in a nutshell my ex boss is an *******.
I have 20 years on my old job as a straight truck driver (22') truck, I was also the warehouse manager. I started at age 18 as a jobber in the warehouse, moved up to counter top fabricator (laminate counter tops) then moved to warehouse boss/truck driver/sales or whatever needed to be done by someone qualified.
My driving duties required anywhere from 5 to 35 stops a day ranging from 100 to 400+ miles a day. Most of my load was hand loaded by yours truly which was helped by a forklift driven by myself, but most of it was hands on.
The areas I covered were-Charleston, SC and the surrounding area, Savannah and the surrounding area, Statesboro, GA and the surrounding area, Myrtle Beach and the surrounding area including NC. Driving in the city was no issue.
I don't have a CDL the truck was under 26k and my medical card expired 2 days ago.
My goal is to land a job driving a straight truck long distance, no owner operator.
What's out there for me?
thx
I forgot to mention my driving record is perfect.
