Well you need to stop fighting Godzilla in your sleep and you won't hurt as much.......hope your not hurting as much as when you woke up yesterday.
Funny of all things you mention Godzilla. I've been on a Godzilla kick as of late watching 4 movies. So much so that it influenced my latest YouTube Video :tearsofjoy:

After feeling better last night, only to have a painful set back. I had a break though in pain after midnight. My pain level dropped by 50% and I could actually breath again without wincing in pain. So hopefully that will put a end to any pneumonia concerns. I was hoping for more improvement by this morning but no suck luck. I understand why some areas would hurt, like my chest, groin where they went in, and throat which had 3 tubes down it. But dang why does every other part of me feel like Godzilla did kick my a$$ lol. 3 hours on a surgical table, followed by 6 hours laying on my back apparently isn't good for the body haha.

I did get a parting gift. My room was too warm for my liking, and they couldn't lower the temp much. The downside to those nice big windows letting the heat in lol. They got me a small fan. Which I got to keep, because they have no way to clean it between patients. Wow, what a waste. It's funny, I was actually thinking I need to get one of these clip on fans lol.

One Week after Heart Ablation and all is well. Except for a nagging dry cough that is being monitored. I do get fatigued pretty quickly, (as my 1st trip out to the store yesterday showed), so still taking it easy. Especially until my artery stiches have had more time to heal.

So, small steps ;)

Great news!

One guy I know was able to go back to work 4 days after surgery, but he's an insurance agent. The other guy I know went back to work after 3 weeks, but he's a cop.

My Stay at McLaren Port Huron was really nice, I have no complaints. Staff were amazing, accommodations outstanding. Heck even the food was pretty good lol. Although, it took me awhile to figure out what a white blob on my plate was. I thought it was grits, turned out to be scrambled egg whites. Wish I would of known that before I dumped some sugar on them by mistake thinking it was pepper

I was surprised today with a hand addressed thank-you for choosing us card today.
What was more surprising was the many signatures inside. The best was a personal note from my primary RN.

Sometimes it's the little things that matter. Had this been just a pre-printed card, I'm sure I would not of mentioned it.

I'm just glad it didn't go down like this... :tearsofjoy:

A little update. Seems the nagging cough I've had for the last 2 weeks, is stemming from complications from the intubation, with possible throat or vocal cord injury. My doctor was a little surprised, as I'm the 3rd case in the last couple of months he has had from the same procedure. Before we go scoping anything else down my throat, I'm trying out some inhalers and hopefully more time will heal.
I'm suppose to make a appointment with a lung specialist, as it may take a while to get in, but I'm kind of dragging my feet hoping it just gets better, as I'm so sick of doctors

One of the other cases resulted in the person having to have a trachea tube put in, as his throat closed up from all the swelling. Geez

I won't even go into the knee issue I'm having, I'm just falling apart :tearsofjoy:

So as I contemplate my future, I can be entertained watching local action of what happened the other day...

Tuesday Flashback thanks to Facebook...

Ahh, 2012 and my 1st Sprinter Van... a Vintage 2002
Man, I loved that van. I probably would still be driving it, if the body hadn't rusted away
I sure miss the great MPG, but don't miss the lack of power...or having NO A/C! :tearsofjoy:

Well good thing it was a round trip. Discovered a issue with my solar setup last night. A fuse holder melted
This is not my pic, but looks exactly like it. Didn't feel like getting up to take a picture lol.
How the system is still working is a mystery to me.

So back at home, refreshing myself on what I need to do on a system I haven't touched in years
Since I'm going to have to disconnect stuff, I'm going to also be replacing my power inverter. It works fine, except for the low volume-high pitched sound it's been making. Sounds like the over power alarm, only on low volume, that will not stop anymore and is driving me mad :tearsofjoy:

I hope that everyone is having a spectacular holiday weekend! The weather is finally perfect! Taking this week off to continue the slow, seeming never-ending van build..installed the push guard on Saturday. Yesterday replaced the fuel tank fill and vent hoses..discovered why the pump kept on clicking no matter which way I turned the pump nozzle..took 20 minutes to fill it up...smh..there was some kind of anti Simon screen with a metal band in the hose turned sideways, blocking off the flow by at least 85%..

Not 100% sure what the culprit was but my iPhone battery was completely dead this morning. Couldn’t even turn it on with out building some charge

I don’t think I was in a roaming area. I may of had my VPN on, but it’s never caused that before. A little head scratching this morning as I gave a big WTH? I know I missed at least 1 load offer as a result. Oh well, onward and upward IMG_7306.JPG

Sometimes you can be in an area where you have two competing cell towers or Wifi signals and the phone is constantly switching back and forth to the strongest one. That can run a battery down in just a few hours. I've only experienced that a few times, but it's really annoying when it happens. Sometimes you can move as little as 50 feet and it solves the problem.

I strolled into Load 1 late last night. I guess it was the 1st time since the new parking area was added, or I didn't see it before.
I was looking, and looking, thinking I don't see anything new.

Then I found it. Very nice. I was amazed how many spots were added for Vans and Bobtails.
Thanks John :)

P.S. Got my shirt and headed home
