Coming into Memphis TN today and crossed the bridge at West Memphis. A man stopped a car in the middle of a bridge, ran out of a car and climbed over on the outer bridge rail and about to jump into the raging Mississippi river 80 feet below.

A trucker, another driver and myself stopped and went out to talk with him. We spent 20 minutes to persuade him to climb over to the safe side. He finally did. Police officers came and escorted him to the hospital.

A life is saved today, we felt good :)

So many little things we can all do to help improve the image of this industry and help restore it. It all starts with each of us.

Good to know we have such people in the industry who would take time out of their busy life to help another.

God bless all those who stopped and helped to convince this man not to jump.

Congrats.

Anyway, was I the first person who saw the thread title and thought of the pilot in Flyboys who was calling them knights of the air?
