Probably the most interesting Republican primary election will be in AZ this year, with J.D. Hayworth challenging John McCain. It will be an uphill battle for Hayworth considering McCain's many advantages of incumbancy and his wife's bank account, but maybe - just maybe the good people of AZ will have decided they've had enough of this snarky moderate and his Democrat Light philosophy.

American Thinker: McCain and Hayworth: Tale of the Tape
Having run one of the most ineffective presidential campaigns in recent memory and espousing more liberal causes than some Democrats, John McCain could very well be sent to the Arlen Specter wing of the Democrat party where he would blend in much better. It will be interesting to see if AZ is tired of McCain-Feingold types of legislation and his proposed blanket amnesty for the illegal Mexicans that are ruining their state.
