Iranians Stage Protest Rally to Condemn "Massacre" of Bahraini People

TEHRAN (FNA)- Scores of Iranian people gathered in front of the Bahraini embassy in Tehran on Thursday, and strongly deplored the barbaric attacks and inhumane and cruel suppression of the oppressed people in Bahrain.

Hundreds of Iranian people held a rally outside the Bahraini mission in the capital Tehran to condemn Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates' invasion of Bahrain.

The Iranian protesters carried placards with anti-invasion expressions and raised slogans in condemnation of the Saudi-led military incursion into Bahrain, and the violent crackdown on anti-government protesters in the Persian Gulf monarchy.

The Iranian protesters, mainly students, also expressed their support for the popular revolution in crisis-hit Bahrain.

Since mid-February, thousands of anti-government protesters in Bahrain have poured into the streets, calling for an end to al-Khalifa dynasty, which has ruled the country for almost two centuries.

On March 14, Bahrain's fellow members of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council -- Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Qatar -- dispatched their armed forces to the Persian Gulf island at Manama's request to quell the countrywide protests.

At least 12 people have been killed and about 1,000 injured during the anti-government protests in troubled Bahrain, inspired by the recent revolutions and uprisings across the Arab world.

Saudi Arabia has deployed more than 1,000 troops, reportedly as part of its so-called Peninsula Shield Force to the crisis-hit Bahrain at the request of Manama.

a suspicious mind would have to think all this unrest seems awfully well orchestrated...maybe a diversion from a bigger picture...hmmmm

maybe the best thing is to pull up an armchair, make popcorn and watch comfortably from a distance...and see where things fall...

Keep in mind that Bahrain was part of Iran/Persia until England messed around in the Middle East. Iran STILL keeps two seats empty in their parliament. Those two seats are for what they consider their 14th province.

Things may just get VERY ugly. Iran is ****e as is most of Bahrain.
