Hi guys,

Can anyone out there reccomend a good inverter/charger system.
I have been looking at a xantrex prosine 2.0. Its about $2000.00 us. I have heard alot of good things about this product but wonder if it is really worth the money. I really just need to run all my appliances and xbox without the battery dying on me. It will be used in a straight truck if it makes a difference. Let me know what you guys are using.
Thx in advance.

Prosine are top of the line inverters. We have one and it has been trouble free for years. As the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for"
Completely different inverter than the garbage available at truckstops. Ask someone who has had their truck catch fire and burn up.

I agree, excellent piece of equipment. You can take it off your taxes as an expense and still transfer to your next truck. Sounds like win, win to me.

I AGREE, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. A TRUE SINE WAVE INVERTER IS THE WAY TO GO. WILL SAVE ALL YOUR DELICATE ELECTRONICS. ALSO GET A GOOD INSTALLATION WITH BEEFY CABLES AND FUSED AT THE BATTERIES. LESS LIKELY TO CATCH FIRE.
