Do you get your insurance through FedEx, or on your own from other place? Why one or the other?

I get mine through FedEx, haven't looked around for other insurance. Too easy not to worry about paying it on time and stuff like that since it comes out of the paycheck. I might miss on a better insurance rate somewhere else. Who knows...

We switched to Progressive Commercial for our truck Insurance. You can find an ad on the E/O website. Saving $1800 per year, direct deduction from checking once a month. Still have our WAI thru Fedex, looking for an alternative here also.

Fedex CC must have different rules for B units then. I wanted to buy insurance from a Progressive agent but was told point blank I couldn't use Fedex's insurance for my truck and keep my Work Accident with Fedex. Its an all or nothing deal. Can you please tell me the contact at Fedex CC who you set this up with? I'd like to trip lease my B unit with another carrier and this Work Accident Ins issue is the only thing holding me up. The price for getting WAI not from Fedex is quite a bit higher from the quotes I got.
