i am driving for a company that does not offer health ins..can anyone tell me where i may be able to get coverage?. i have had cancer. thanks for any help.

I don't know what the pre-existing will do but I got mine through www.ehealthinsurance.com with Blue Cross Blue Shield. Good luck to you.

Blue Cross is the only one I know of that will take someone with a pre-exsisting condition. GOOD LUCK.

You may want to also investigate a medical savings account. Your rates will drop as the deductible is considerably higher. This plan has been the best for us.
As far as BCBS, we noticed the geographic region and state are big issues on premiums. Florida was twice as high as TN. Biggest reason is TN I believe adds money to some of the health programs.
I would spend some time researching it as so much changes on this stuff all the time.

My BCBS is pretty reasonable I think. I pay $85 a month and have a max out of pocket of $8,000 deductible plus copays. After that it's all covered up to $5M.

I Take from your Name that you live in Texas. I sold health Insurance in Texas for awhile. Most Companys in Texas have a Time limit on cancer Mosty 5-10 Years. Texas also has the High risk Pool. You can infomation on this thur Texas Dept. of Insurance website.
