How easy is it for a newbie cdl school graduate to find work in expiditing?
1) CDL A w/Hazmat (Though I prefer probably to drive a straight truck - I'll explain little further on as to why).
2) excellent driving record.
3) clean background.
4) Good physical shape/no bad habits.
5) Live in the Chicago area. Though I am curious also about opportunities in either western North carolina, Arizona, southern cali, or Oregon. I wouldn't mind moving either.
6) Hometime not an issue for me (except for major holidays like: Easter, Memorial day, Thanksgiving, Christmas), as long as I have a descent truck, making descent money, and can get to a gym regularly while on the road (this is why I prefer straight truck -I figure its easier to get in and out of gym lots).
7) Looking to go solo as well as drive for someone else since I'm new to this.
I appreciate any advice or words of wisdom that you can give me.
