Does anyone know the step or procrdures I need to take getting started? I own a small truck .

Step 1: gather all possible information from a variety of sources including EO, (archives & current topics, esp Newbies, and seminars if you can make it to one), drivers at truckstops, recruiters, etc.
Step 2: Analyze all info to determine what you need to be on the lookout for, in terms of a truck, carrier, lease, whatever. Create a business plan, if inclined to be professional about expediting.
Step 4: Choose a carrier, find out their requirements for a truck.
Step 5: Obtain a truck that works for the chosen carrier - or, since you already have a truck, try to find a carrier that can use it.
Step 6: Don't leave for orientation until you have a LOT of money (ideally several months expenses) socked away.
Step 7: Arrive at orientation, then do what they tell you to do.

Or, just start calling fleet owners to see if one will put you in a truck, if your truck won't work - it might happen, if your credentials are good enough.
You said you have a truck - do you have a CDL? Experience?

Good advice from the other two people. But first what kind of truck do you have and call around to some of the expedite companies on this site to see if they can use your type of vehicle.
If you don't have any experience in expediting then consider driving for someone else, or hook up with a local courier company...They do get long runs too! Gain your experience then pay attention to fellow expediters on the road, talk with them ask questions read these forums.
Once you've gained the experience, and decide what size vehicle suits you (some o/o will start in one size and upgrade to another) hopefully you'll be successful...Good Luck!
