Hello Dave and in ans to your posting, I own a van, the others I have spoken with also own vans. And you ask why would one take a load 100 miles short? Well mostly we do it unsuspectingly, i.e. not knowing until the "suggested routing" comes up and by then as I mentioned it is too late because we all know it doesn't fair well with us to refuse a load after the fact. Yes the only way to avoid this is to go on your computer and do the mileage or if you have GPS to run the addresses before you accept the load or to ask dispatch before you accept the load....there I answered all my questions, LOL The whole issue would be moot if the system was upgraded to match paid miles with suggested miles and do away with HHMG for good! :7 And I did own a straight truck and haven't calculated shortage on miles on that, but I know it wasn't much of an issue. Thanks.

That makes sense! I wonder who thought up the change?
