Remember, it is all about feelings.

Those is charge are GOOD at pulling at the ole "heart strings" for sure, no matter that everything they say about fire arms is either wrong, or a lie. THEIR purpose is POWER, at any cost.

What amazes me is that there are so many out there who refuse to even attempt to learn the truth, they just jump in and goose step with the "Leader".

This is why there's gridlock: ask for suggestions, and all you get is "That [whatever was already suggested] won't work."
No ideas whatsoever, just : no.

Here's a suggestion. Tell the PRO's to shut the blank up and quit stupidly asking for more suggestions. Tell them they've got WELL over 20 THOUSAND gun laws on the books already and need to enforce laws against criminals instead of inanimate objects and honest citizens.

The goal is NOT a reduction in murders, gun crime, or crime in general. The goal is to remove the firearms from the People so they are not a deterrent to government becoming a tyranny. Gun crimes, school shootings etc are a very useful tool for those who wish to control the People, and they do not want to take away one of their most useful tools. The truth about this subject is the enemy for those who seek to control the People, which is, after all the goal, not "gun control".
