Is the old practice of getting a P.O.box and plates in OK still used? Or did they do away with that? Where does Michigan rank as far as being expensive or not with commercial plates?
Thanx
They did away with the OK registration. You now have to title in the State that you are domiciled in,or have a physical presense such as an office and employees. So people like good old Fern Bennet no longer are in business.I can't speak for Michigan but my home sate of Florida is not bad ,however if I ever buy a new truck I will have tpo pay Florida sales tax which I didn't when I registered in OK.x(
Oklahoma not what it use to be. You do need to register in your home state or the state your company is based in, such as Illinois in the case of Landstar.. Hope this clears up any confusion. It just so happens we have a freind who was titled in Ok. and had some difficulties,so your better off playing by the rules..
I have a similar issue. We have gotten rid of our house in Texas, right now our bills are being sent to my gf's parents house in Louisiana. Is La going to be considered my domicile state now? I dont want to pay La state taxes again arggh.}>
