    I'd just install it. I'd do it cold so you don't get burned. The starter is under there, so I'd disconnect the negative cable. If you were to drop a wrench on the starter and a connection was made, things can get pretty exciting.

    I’ve got some news,
    coalminer & greasytshirt, you guys were right on the money,
    I had the SCV replaced but I also had to replace the,
    FUEL PRESSURE SWITCH AND PRESSURE LIMITING VALVE.
    Now she runs really smooth again .
    Thank you guys for the mechanical knowledge and expertise you share with everyone, priceless and very helpful,

    Today, I filled up the fuel tank but the fuel needle on the dashboard remains at E, empty, why???
    coalminer, greasytshirt any suggestions to what it might be the problem???
