In the request for comments NHTSA lists several questions it would like comments on . http://a257.g.akamaitech.net/7/257/2422/01jan20071800/edocket.access.gpo.gov/2007/07-326.htm . Most comments ignore these questions . A large number of comments are obviously a result of Road Safe America having some type of letter writing or e-mail forwarding campaign to gather support . The comments are almost laughable . Quotes of actual comments . "Please " "Thank you " " This is a civilized and compassionate act " . PLEASE add your comments . I don't care if you favor or oppose the petition . I would just like to see a few relevant comment by people with an actual understanding of the issue . BTW , where are the OOIDA members on this ? Sitting back and letting OOIDA be their voice again ?

With over 700 comments posted on this docket and very few from an organization with thousand of members OOIDA is doing a very poor job of organizing votes to oppose it . Road Safe America on the other hand has mamaged to have their supporters post hundreds of comments .
