OK...I'm just thinking out loud here.....GM has been in trouble for a long time...so what if behind close doors China now owns 51% or more of GM and they are pulling the strings on the puppet board of Directors

It would have to be known to shareholders. Besides, they own Volvo.

The Shareholders! That's what drives our economy now. Not to sound like a "Lefty", (I'm knot one), but the decisions to open or close plants, where to source parts, what to pay workers, etc. Is driven by maximizing the return to the Shareholders. Little or no consideration is given to the community, the environment or the American economy. And, like declining rates per mile, it won't change.

That’s true. Just wondering what will happen when they go full automation or move all of their plants overseas and no one is working any more. Who will buy their products.
That will be the “long term result of short term thinking”.
Same holds true for McDonald’s, Amazon and all the rest.

I was thinking the original plan included a driver.
Then I thought Andy might have suggested two trucks allow you to run two logs in the ELD era.
The reason people say sell is to limit your loss.
If you sell now, at a $5000 loss, you’ve only lost 5k.
If you try to operate them, you can lose much more.
Put them here in the free classifieds.
At least it’s free.
Try to sell back to whoever you bought them from.
Good Luck.
Why the negativity?
Trucking is tough for those who know how to do it.

Rags, you are correct.
It was directed to the AC guy that bought two trucks but doesn’t know why.
