getting back into expediting

I've been out of the drivers seat since last April. I am in the process of signing on with an owner as a solo driver for one of the bigger exp. co's.. I was hoping to get some feedback from solo straight truck drivers ( I'll be in a Century Class Freightliner ). I do have expedite experience, and know SOME of the ups and downs, but not sure about running solo for one of the bigger outfits.
