Since they widened r20 in Ohio I usually take that 55/60 mph across maybe a couple lights, save fuel also
Rt. 30 is more of a straight shot from Chicago to PA, me thinks.

Not as congested. 30-60min faster than Rt. 20.

Use a pencil on your bookkeeping and keep a light touch On the gas pedal

Usually better Highway conditions...
No Stop signs ...
I can maintain my 68 to 69 mph and 18.5 to 20. MPG ..
If needed free shower .. bathroom also close ..
And at No Cost to Me ...

I almost always use 30, but in a pinch the Ohio pike isn’t so bad. The Indiana toll road, tho? Not if I can possibly avoid it! Indiana should be ashamed of itself for collecting tolls on that road; it’s the Ho Chi Minh Trail!
