I bought one of those buddy heaters at wally world. I was going to use it in the ST, but I took it home and set it up at the house. I let it run for a few hours and it made me sick, got up the next morning with a terrible headache. I gave it away and bought an espar.

I know alot of you guys use these heaters, I just don't know how. I don't know if I had it set up wrong or maybe I just can't take the fumes as well?

I am not sure i would use a propane heater in my house without a fan to move the air around...In the CV I have a MaxAir roof vent with a fan that was open and the fan on low and each of the ft windows were always open 2-3 inchs whenever i used the heater..and I also have a 8 inch fan that is mounted on the top of the heater and it runs whenever the heater is on...the key is to keep the air moving. no different the any other heater, you need a blower or fan to move the heated air around the room, house or truck...

I will be installing a MaAir roof vent/fan in the net few weeks in the CargoMa. I use the heater now if i need to, but the wuindows are still open and the fan on top the heater are always on...been using the big buddy since i started almost 3.5 yrs ago...no issues at all...and it will heat you out of the truck...
