Gas prices are set to rise a second day in a row, this time by 3.1 cents.

Drivers in the GTA can expect to pay 131.8 cents for a litre of gas as of Friday, according to Gas Prices - Tomorrows Gas Price Today - Dan McTeague .

This is close to a 30 per cent increase from last year, when the price of gas was 103.5 cents for a litre.

The site is run by gas price watcher and former Liberal MP Dan McTeague.

On Thursday, a litre of gas cost 128.7 cents, a 2.6 cent increase from the day before — making Friday’s gas prices almost 6 cents higher than the price on Wednesday.

3.8 liters in a US gallon...= $5.00 a gallon

Maybe a sprinter can be converted to a stanley steamer in the future, lol:D

In Canada lately for some reason gas is always more expensive then diesel...luckily I can do the almost 400 miles round trip when I visit my kids up there...don't need to fill up...
