Ford Transit 250 or Nissan NV 2500

Since a previous post of mine talked me out of a Sprinter. In your opinions, which would you guys go with......as far as reliability.....Ford Transit 250 or Nissan NV 2500, low mileage used 2014-2016 year range.

Simply put ... ford 3 skids possible
Nissan 2 skids max ..
Have owned neither so i can't speak on mechanical issues

hauling freight from a Pond near you

I've never had either but have never heard any good comments on mpg with Nissan. I'd definitely research that before making any decision.

Yes the Nissan gets roughly 4 mpg less than the Ford. Based on a quick google search.

That would be a lot of money in a year, probably about 1000 gallons more fuel if you drove 75000 miles per year, so about $200 a month at current prices. That's about a foot long Subway sandwich every day. Not quite enough alone but that might take care of about half a days eating anyway.

Neither! What ever you get make it a 1 ton, aka 350 or 3500. As Xiggi stated: "More space is always good for freight or personal space." The same applies for weight capacity.
