well i finally got my package from landstar.. talked to the recruiter and pretty much would just have to set up a school date..talked to a ton of there drivers over the last 2 years, and have never heard anything negative about the company from there drivers...however my concern is that a few recently quit because of no loads.. or maybe one load a week..i am just wondering how the landstar vans are doing, before i turn in my qc at the bigg panther office... any help would be appreciated...thanks brian

Do you know any Van that is getting more than one load a week?
Those that are just happen to get in the right place at the right time.
I have a friend that is in a Sprinter and he is busy all the time, but I've talked to others that are getting the one load a week to.

It doesnt matter where you go,The grass isn't greener. You have to look at the equipment you drive, and how many trucks the same size that company has.Now you have to realize, how many other companies also have same size trucks. All these companies are after the same freight,so what this boils down to,is being in the right place at the right time, then you will be busy,be at a location with 20 other trucks, then good luck.YOu van guys,I feel for,as the C and D guys are hauling your loads, that gives you less opportunity, guess thats why I won't come out my tractor

If every company could keep you loaded the same as every other company, no one would need to move. Yes! Sometimes the grass IS greener. Landstar is a very good system if you're pro-active (I hate that word). It's as close to being independant as you can get without getting your own authority.

Night... it's nice that you're doing so good in your t/t. But not everyone wants to drive a big rig.

Hawk,I'm in this T/T for that very reason.Lot less competition, and they need me more than I need them, makes for a good partnership
