FedEx CC Accident 09/17/2014 on PA turnpike

A Custom Critical DR unit was involved in a serious accident early this morning near the 181mm Eastbound on the PA Turnpike. We were in the backup for about an hour or so, before being allowed through approx 02:00.

Looked pretty bad, but we were unable to stop, as both lanes were blocked, and no place to pull over with all the emergency vehicles.

There were at least 2 Big trucks involved also, but do not know if anyone else was injured.

We understand the FECC husband was life flighted, but don't know the extent of his injuries.

Let's hope that all turns out well, this is something that could happen to any of us at any given time.

Especially in that road, isn't that near where all the rollovers take place in the winter, I only like doing it at night when the traffic and crazy dump trucks are down.
