Fed Ex Dog

Stopped at one of the Ohio Turnpike Service Centers last week and there was a Fed Ex van with a couple in it. They both took turns walking an older looking Irish Setter which had a muzzle on. At the time I assumed it was their dog but Sweetie later told me that in the back of the van was a large dog house with shipping papers attached.
Now I am wondering if Fed Ex was transporting this animal.
Anyone know if they ship pets?

There was a FedEx Custom Critical team that shipped a pair of live polar bears once. The bears were caged and sedated. Delivery was to a zoo.

A couple of years ago we picked up a load of dogs at the airport in Houston. Yeep a whole trailer load.(temp control of course) They were in carriers being shipped from Belgium. We took them to a military base near San Antonio where there were going to be trained for drug/bomb work. We did that run twice.
