Fairness, where?

Obama and the liberals can't wait to get into office to enact the "fairness" doctrine. This is a program that will eliminate conservative talk radio, the one area of the media they haven't been able to control. The left uses semantics to bring about a positive disposition toward blatant negatives.

Affirmative action = discrimination

Undocumented worker = criminal alien

Fairness doctrine = suppression of free speech

They cloak their lies in flowery terms designed to evoke sympathy rather than awareness. They do an excellent job of it. It's how they bring a near Marxist socialist to the brink of being elected president.

I agree that the doctrine is BS, but I don't see how it would eliminate conservative talk. My understanding is that it would require stations to give equal time to liberal views. It is sad that since the libs can't come up with programming that people really want to listen to, Congress would force it down everyone's throats.

What it is called is eliminating the First Amendment of the Constitution. You know, the Bill of Rights? In my country the Government cannot dictate programming. That is most important when it comes to political discourse which in the REAL reason that Freedom of Speech is in the First Amendment. It was not meant to allow strippers to strip and all the other "garbage" that they lump into that freedom. It was written for political speech. Like the Obama camp is stopping. Like the L.A. TV station that won't show a clip of Obama praising the PLO because they want him elected. Or the Orlando TV station that was forced by the Osama Obama's to take an interview with Joe "I will steal anyone's work and call it my own" Biden where the female anchor asked him several times if he and Obama are socialists off of thier wedsite. IMO, talk radio and talk shows are businesses like any other. SO what happened to us living in a Capatailist country and letting the market dictate what goes on. If people want more conservative that is the market and that is what it is dictating. If the people want more liberal shows that is what the market is dictating. Simple economics.

Not for a Marxist. They are all smarter than the average "joe". They know what sell and what does not. They know what is good for you and what is not. It's a brave new world.
