My wife is going to take over the Sprinter, I am getting a steal of a deal on a 2005 Hino 24ft box truck from the carrier that I do most of the runs for. About a month ago, someone went to open the hood to check the oil and it fell off, broke the hinges right off the hood. Since it was the oldest truck they had, they were just going to trade it in. The dealer was only going to give them $3000 for it, I told him I would give him $5000 for it. It runs like a champ, had a new transmission installed about a year ago, I cant wait, will have an actuall sleeper, not laying on a matress in the back of the sprinter..... I wont be running the new truck with Express, or at least not right now.

Haven't you heard? You will have to do a LOGBOOK, and drive thru SCALES, and possibly do some INSPECTIONS, and all that HARD stuff you don't have to do driving a van. Geez... I feel sorry for you going to the tough life. ;)

Heheehe, yes, I have learned all about the logbooks, scales, paying the extra "fee" for driving through New Mexico and Arizona. Have not had an inspection yet, although I dont think I have anything to worry about there. I will say one thing after having to log my time, I feel so unproductive only being able to drive 11 hours a day.....
