Hello everyone,

Seeking some help. Have a 2008 Hino 338 with electrical issues. Specifically not getting any electrical current to the following: EGR, throttle position sensor, and the air flow sensor. Also the engine brake appears not to be working. Anyone else experiencing or have experienced these issues occurring at the same time?

Thanks,
Tom

I'm looking at a wiring diagram. There are two wires coming from the ecm and they eventually touch every one of the devices you've mentioned. For all of them to be affected at the same time, the fault would have to be inside the cab, if the diagram is to be believed. Possibly at a junction box.

Some wire chasing might be involved. In the meantime, see if there's corrosion inside the junction box under the air filter. Don't break the cover bolts if you can avoid it. Inside the cab, be suspicious of anything that looks like it's been spliced into, like for CB radios, gps devices, etc.
