i'm out of orf norfolk va would go with 26 ft and a lift gate
as they pay for each stop and if you use the lift gate that is one more item to be paid for, ex 1 for the stop 2 for lift gate and 3
if it is inside del, at least 3,000 lbs and about 60 inch lift gate
alum fold up lift gate also be able to hold more freight

Why 26'?
does 24" make a difference?

divide 26 by 48 and what do ya get more room to carry freight
should be able to carry about 12 pallets and equipment pallet jack
hand truck and other thing you may need to carry, where 24' only 10 pallets or so
