Duo-Therm A/C

Wondering if anyone knows whether Duo-Therm rooftop air conditioner warrenty is void if put on a commercial vehicle. We recently bought a truck with this a/c unit on it and are getting the run around about the 3 year warrenty. This unit was installed in Oct of last year. Tried calling previous owner but he hasn't returned our calls. Thanks for your help.

Not really sure. We currently have one on one of our trucks, but never had a problem with it. I would call Indiana custom trucks or Camperworld and see what each says.
I believe mine had a 3 year warranty, but we never had to use it.

Thanks for your input, service man we called said that it wasn't under warrenty cause it was on a commercial vehicle. I've checked prices at Campers World, Ebay etc and think we are being had if you know what I mean. We have been sitting in Springfield, MO for the weekend and plan on making some phone call in the A.M. to check on warrenty our self. Hubby and I can buy and install new unit for half what this guy wants. Downfall- have to wait till we go home to get it done. Most RV service centers are booked through July, go figure. Thanks again for your help!

The closest Camping worlds are Bolingbrook IL, or Bowling Green, Ky to Springfield. It might be just something minor verses a whole unit replacement?
