Did YOU Vote?

Have you voted in all the elections, and/or referendums, for which you were eligible? Those of you that still drive, have the option of voting by absentee ballot, so there are really no excuses for not participating. BTW, I mean ALL elections: local, state and federal.

If you didn't vote, STFU!!

I do vote although it is likely I missed a something along the way. But this is America and that allows even those who don't vote to voice their opinions along with everyone else.

The below statement is false, but it gives you something to think about .

"PAYING TAXES GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO COMPLAIN ,
VOTING MAKES YOU ACCOUNTABLE"

Greg: Thanks for pointing out that you need to be an educated voter, before going to the polls. I should have said it that way. Sorry.

Mike,
It is just amazing what is happening within a half mile of my home - after a couple news reports and interviews of people going into and leaving the polls in the city of Detroit, the people are so ... well dumb ... and it is one of these things that makes me ... stop ... make that forces me to think that there should be something more than just showing up and voting to allow people to vote.

One who was interviewed before he went into the polls was going to vote for Monika Conyers and another wanted to know if Maryann Mahaffy was running this year because she has her vote- she died in 2006. The one that took the cake was the clip where the two guys were saying he was going to vote for the Eddie Murphy guy - that would be Gill Hill.

Before anyone thinks that I am bashing the majority of people living in Detroit, Black voters, not a chance because those three examples were the worst ones and they were all white.

I enjoy complaining too much to not vote and I did know what all the proposed amendments etc. were prior to voting.

I don't necessarily disagree with you.. it is their constitutional right to vote though. Idiots are allowed to own guns too...

Actually that's only partially true, we have a limited right to vote and that has been handed to us by Bush V. Gore - 2000.

If we really had the "right" to vote, then it could be reasoned that we also have the right to recall, but we don't.
