Here is proof that even a Democrat can be right once in a while. We are at a very dangerous juncture in the history of the Nation. This administration is doing more than any in history to silence the voice of the oppostition. There are major debates coming soon. Debates on the Nationalization of the health care industry. Debates on our Rights under the Second Amendment. These are just two of the major issues that will come up over the next year or so. There will be more. With an almost total lack of a free and indepentdent press it is very unlikely that there will be any kind of free and open debate on any of these important issues. The current administration, in concert with the congress, can and will be able to limit debate on most every issue. They will be going after broadcast radio soon where the last real outlet, other than the internet, for opposition speach is getting out. Harry Truman got it right on this issue, his words are below. Even if you are a total liberal/socialist or marxist the loss of a free and open debate should scare you to death.
