Was wondering if anyone uses a DC TV? Is the overall power drain less since an inverter is not needed? Do they work as well?

Back before the digital tv's came out I had a couple of them and they didn't last long. Seems as though the AC kind get better reception and last longer. I have not had a DC since they changed over to digital maybe they are better now than in the past. I don't even know if they make them anymore.
Go with the AC and inverter. The drain is less and the tv's are quite a bit cheaper.

I have run both, changed to the AC run off the inverter last yr..power draw is not an issue and the picture is much better..
