CVS Pharmacy Minute Clinic

I have been fighting off a sinus infection for the past two weeks. Yesterday it moved into my left eye and became more than a minor aggravation. Today I searched online and found a CVS pharmacy Minute Clinic about 5 miles away.

This was a simple and pleasant alternative to locating a doctor and making an appointment or finding an industrial clinic that accepts walk-ins. I gave the nurse practitioner some personal and insurance information. She examined my ears, nose, throat and eyes, checked my blood pressure and temperature and wrote a prescription for an antibiotic. I walked 10 feet from the clinic to the pharmacy counter and had my prescription filled. Total time about 35 minutes.

Moot,

This program seems to be a great on the road solution when you need a bit of relief without a $200 bill from a UrgentCare type of operation. Thanks for posting.
