In my searching on the internet,
I found a site that has made a Volvo 770, cut the back out...
And, attached a motorhome body. Making the beast 45 foot long!
The site is Powerhousecoach.com, they're not cheap. They have a used 2003 there for about $235,000. Yes, you read correctly. They're mosters though, unique too. I looked at outside and inside pics. The interesting thing they've done is essentially made the sleeper of these Volvo's into, well, a crew cab. You gotta see it. I'm hoping that somebody will see these things and post a pic of the cab layout and how they formed the truck and sleeper into the motorhome body.
I imagine that somebody could use part of their floor plan and body they make and shorten the body so it's 40 feet bumper to bumper 1st, then just cut the back 15 to 20 feet off,
and have the cargo box on the tail end. I'm sure somebody could find fault in their plan though with commercial applications.
Davekc will want to see them, just for giggles and farts...
if for nothin' else.
