What should a person expect to pay for an engine dyno?

Thank you. Got a $400 quote and thought it seemed high.

$400.00 does sound high unless they are doing something else with it.
I would expect a diagnostic fee, and a couple hours tops on labor.

I think what they were doing with it was sending it to an outside shop that charges them $200 and adding another $200 on top of it.
