ComfortPro APU

Had a comfortpro installed this past week and looking for some info that the dealer seem not to know....scary. Can anyone tell me what weight oil to run in it and after how many hours of use can I switch to synthetic oil?

If it isn't spelled out in the owners manual (you did say new) then I would check with a few Carrier dealers.
Crow's in Memphis,TN is pretty knowledgable on those units.

I have 15k hours on mine and have always used whatever oil I have in the truck, right now amsoil 5w30.

we have a power tech on ours and the main office service dept to me to run 15w40 rotella in ours and then after 5000 hrs we can run synth. but not before, manual says use 10w30, thats when i called and got it from them.
