We have one in a Sterling and it is getting somewhere between 8 and 9 mpg.
What kind of ride did you get?

We got a 2007 m2 f/liner trading a 2005 sterling w/mbe900. Same sleeper 96", but got the onan gen and roof top a/s. We have a rigmaaster but when it is hot it relly struggles to keep the inside temp down.

Sounds nice. I think you will like the rooftop setup.

My 06 Sterling 8500 with the C9 at 335 is getting about 8mpg overall including minimal idling and lots of gizmo(APU) usage.

Make certain that you get the speciaql warranty for fuel injectors...think it costs like 600-700 doallars for 500,000 miles. C9-s have been dropping their 3rd and 5th fuel injectors ( think those are the ones) between 100,000 and 125000 miles and imagine the or shock to find out they are not included in any regular warranty or extended warranties.
